Amazon often does this on pre-order stuff where they don't have a final price, basically they don't want you to order until they have a firm price as they guarantee you the price at either ordering or delivery time whichever is the lowest. They don't want to list it at £500, if it then turns out to be £600 as they would have to let you have it at £500 if that was the price they displayed when you ordered.

They've given themselves quite a safety margin there then, about £31.5k.

Anyone have any experience of the "SR Technology Jam150, or the Schertler incarnation or the Acus line compared to the Bose or SA220 things ?

Anyone have any experience of the "SR Technology Jam150, or the Schertler incarnation or the Acus line compared to the Bose or SA220 things ? A friend of mine had an SR Technology Jam, not sure what model, but I remember it being very impressive. Always difficult to describe sound, but as far as I remember it was very full and smooth without sacrificing any clarity, if that makes sense. There's a couple of interesting reviews below that I'm sure explain it more clearly. SR Technology JAM 90 review (smaller model but I guess the characteristics would be similar) SR Technology Jam 150 Plus Acoustic Amp Review
