Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but for me a 1 7/8" nut is lovely when you get used to it. I had 2 Takaminines and an Ovation Folklore all with 1 7/8" Nuts and although the guitars are long gone, I really did like the the wide necks.

My Martin 0021 has a 1 7/8 “ nut and is very nice to play. SO THERE!!

I have a feeling it will be in Rochdale soon J Not on this occasion, I’ve made a number of very serious acquisitions in the past few weeks and have another Bown on order. We were discussing wood choices on Sunday evening. Possibly a 12 fret 000 in Koa/Spruce. I have played that guitar and nearly bought it several years ago but for once was too slow. It is a wonderful little guitar.
