Does anyone use a reverb pedal with an acoustic guitar?
I'm looking for a simple stomp box, not some fancy multi-effects thingy. Also it won't be getting a lot of use, so I don't want to spend a fortune on it - something under £70 would suit my budget.
Any recommendations?
Cheers, Stringy

Not used it with an acoustic but I use a Behringer pedal with my e-mando. One of these www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-DR600-DIGITAL-Digital-Effects/dp/B001GD07SK. It's a budget brand but gets well reviewed and you should have some change for a fuzzbox as well There was a video comparison I saw recently that compared Behringer with Boss and other "name" pedals and in some instances the reviewer preferred the Behringer.

I've got a couple of Behringer pedals - a booster/gain thing and an instrument selector thing. They've been fine, but I find changing batteries on them a fiddle. Also the plastic pad came off both of them and had to be superglued back on. Minor quibbles though when you consider the price of them. I also have a Behringer tuner, which is hopeless, so much so that I recently bought a Korg.

I might have misunderstood the question... wouldn't be the first time, and won't be the last Stomp boxes

Here you go. I just use it for solos. I think it might have been discontinued, although you can still pick them up. www.amazon.com/Behringer-PB100-BEHRINGER-PREAMP-BOOSTER/dp/B000KITQKMI do think it affects the tone a bit, even when not switched on. I put it behind my preamp, which helps with that. I'm looking to upgrade at some point to something with "true bypass", which in theory doesn't affect tone unless switched on.

Both of these are decent and cheap options. Over the years I’ve begun to appreciate build quality more! I’d look at a Boss reverb as these are built like tanks. They will last for years and so are a good second hand option as well.
Don’t bother searching for the best sound ! It’s just a way of loosing money fast!

If you're looking to be economical, the TC Electronic Skysurfer Reverb is around £30 and is well built and designed.

Wow - so it is! Haven't seen that one before. Surprised TC are making a pedal at that price (given their HoF reverb is over £100) but that could certainly be worth a look.
