I've been toying with the idea of an acoustic amp for a little while & I spotted this Laney LA65C on Facebook Marketplace for £100 not too far away & thought it might be worth a punt so I made a little trip up to have a play with it yesterday. I was impressed at the guitar tone coming from it with my K&K equipped Yamaha going straight in & it seems ok on vocals (better than my Street Cube, which was what I was hoping for at least ) Not sure how old it is, but I'd guess about ten - fifteen years. Anyone else come across one of these? If so I'm curious what you thought. Laney don't seem to make it anymore, although they do still do the smaller 30w version.

Looks nice. Laney knock out some good amps and are often overlooked. Nice score.

These are streets better than the Roland Cube. The new ones offer the most impressive busking sound I’ve heard!
