Yes, always been impressed by her. She is basically banjo frailing a guitar, very clever.

Very lovely indeed. Pleased to see she has clothes that aren't woolly jumpers too!
Love her playing and singing. This is one of my favourite vids of her -
It is well worth watching all through for the superb ensemble playing and the way they each play off the others; some great singing and mike choreography too. If you don't have time to watch it all, skip to the final choon, around 21.25, which is sheer joy!

Molly is amazing. I'm sure she has huge amount of natural talent, but she also had the advantage of her father being very into bluegrass and starting off the whole family playing as soon as they could hold an instrument. What lucky kids! There is a girl that sometimes sings with them named AJ Lee who is another child prodigy - one of the finest voices I've heard. This is an old video but it's still one of my favourites:

Molly is wonderful. Such a great picker and a lovely voice, too. You're right, Violet, being started off really earlier translates to wonderful ability twenty years down the track (provided the work is put in, of course). I recall reading about how long and seriously she took also singing lessons for. I'm glad there are such people out there. They make wonderful music for the rest of us to wallow in!

Yes, always been impressed by her. She is basically banjo frailing a guitar, very clever. Her flat picking is coming on well! There are some videos around of a very young Molly playing banjo. Her Dad works in a famous Nashville guitar store. I guess that accounts for it! Vocally she reminds me of Alison Krause.
