Perhaps they are based on a dim marketeer’s misunderstanding of the nature of “bluesmen”. Failing that, the wood must be too cold. As the sage colins has rightly pointed out, wood should be wood coloured. Brian

I see a lot of these guitars around - I don't like the APX shape anyways but this particular shade of blue is not very nice IMHO: Mr Hewerdine plays a blue Atkins that is a very lovely guitar, but the colour is not to my taste at all.

What's wrong with blue guitars. Here's mine, a USA strat for £300. Magic. Is that a "Viagra Blue Strat" - it certainly seems to be defying the laws of gravity

I think everything - everything - should be brown, though areas of white hair are permissible.

Perhaps in 50 years time guitars and other musical instruments will be made from composite materials (you'll be able to print your own at home using your printer) and there will be no compensation or tuning issues, it will have an inbuilt version of Siri, and you will be able to ask for it to put itself into a certain tuning. As it would be composite then you could have whatever design top you wanted.
(By the way, I would think most people would plump for the classic Plymouth Argyle shirt design from 1966 - you know, the one with the band across the chest with the club badge on it - everyone knows that one).
Hmmn, that sun's warm, isn't it.

I’ll just leave this here... I mean, if you're Chris Smither you can play what you like, but *yuck*. It's like someone designed a guitar with the only objective to be as nineties as possible...
