I know a few makers previously worked with Roger in the late 70S before going their own way. Does anyone know which makers would have been building very Fylde like guitars in the late 70s/early 80s?
I know of makers like Neil Brook and John Hullah, but any other ideas much appreciated. Recently acquired an all mahogany "Fylde like Object" which sounds and plays wonderfully with lots of Fylde Hallmarks, but isn't a Fylde.
Who might have built it?

I played a couple of Hullah’s - nice guitars. I played a Hullah too - it was fairly old and had clearly had a hard life, but it still played well and sounded good. When I first saw it I thought it was a Fylde - very similar style.

This one isn't a Hullah, I'm pretty sure. I'll try and post some pics though Flickr isn't very cooperative on the mobile.

Almost anyone who worked at Fylde and had the capability may have made it for their own use/skill development and sold it on after a while I suppose.
Looking forward to the pics!

Certainly has the look of an Oberon about it with the zero fret and rosette style

Well, it's not one of Eddie's but Roger says it *might* be a Fylde. It's still a mystery!

After more to and fro both Roger and Neil Brook think it’s an early Hullah, but looks like John is uncontainable.
