Hello everyone,
following on from the workshop demo videos I posted recently, here is a video of Rosie and I chatting about all sorts of things from her visit to NAMM to English tone woods, The Holy Grail grand finale, arch tops, books we've been in and all sorts of other things in between.
I hope you enjoy it!
All the best
Michael

Very enjoyable and very interesting. Rosie not only makes great guitars but is clearly a shrewd businesswoman, planning carefully for the future. Great that she now has a minion too: lucky Karl.

Thanks Andy! I know what you meant I am fascinated by the exploration of different tone woods and the English/British ones. I'm beginning to mull over a new guitar amnd would love to go down that route. But everytime I read somethign or see a video like this I have something else to think about.
I nearly always go for a spruce top over cedar because of re ability to dig in. The cypress top of Rosie's I played sounded wonderful for James Taylor kind of stuff and was a nice ragtime guitar but I couldn't imagine living with it. But the description of yew(?) having more headroom really interested me.
But basically, you lot are just trying to find new ways of putting our credit cards in danger :-)

Excellent video - I could listen to RosieTGC talk enthusiastically about her guitars all day long, and listen to michaelwatts playing them just as long I do, however, have concerns that Rosie wasn't really hydrating herself properly over the course of the interview - just the two sips of tea. I think Karl should stage an intervention.

Excellent video. As for archtops, try Ken Parker!
