personally I would not be bothered at all for going to Glasto, all them crowds not a chance, just hate pushing n shoving just to get from A-B, especially as society is so damn rude these days and don't give too much of a shit about other people ......and breathe.....Christ I nearly lost meself there.... THIS is a prime example of what I do love about Glasto, listening to performers who I have never heard of and enjoying what I hear, these two ladies tick all the boxes for me......musically of course There was also a guy that played in that small open space they called their studio, cant remember his name now, surname I think was joseph with a more obscure first name, usual acoustic singer songwriter but I liked him too

quite a few of the other boxes as well for me! looks a bit like Melanie, I never heard of them but as you say that's what's so good about festivals, we go to Camb folk fest every year and always come home with one or two new bands or singers, to name a few, mumford and sons about 4/5 years ago on the way up, Frank Turner first time round doing an acoustic set now one of my all time fav, there's loads of great stuff out there

Agreed - superb! And yes, do go sometime if you can. It certainly does get crowded and will cause many frustrations, but there's lots of fun to be had as well. The smaller stages that never get shown on telly are very pleasant and have some great performers. Head for the AcousticTent and the Avalon tent! Keith

Wasn't sure if Jake Bugg was gonna be a hit with me, quite liked the couple of tracks i saw in tv he did so got the album from the supermarket, and i do quite like it after an initial listen, similar sound to the la's, a band i liked in late 80's early 90's when i was following the inspiral carpets and charlatans round on tour, great memories, great tunes
