Very interesting stuff Phil. I was one of those that grew up in the 60s who really learned their playing from Martin Carthy and Bert Jansch. One of my favourite tunings was EADEad which I leaned from Martin, it was a period of great experimentation to see what was possible, both in the acoustic world and the electic. My most 'experimental' piece was with the guitar tuned to C#F#BC#F#B, capoed on 3 to give EADEad but with slack strings to try and get a zither type sound. app.box.com/s/ko397khqx31mergddtavHarry Lime Theme Not sure if it worked, but the last time I went to see Martin play, at the Marlowe in Canterbury about five years ago, he played the Harry Lime Theme as his encore, and pointed at me and mentioned my version! colins It worked for me. I saw a young Orson Welles in a doorway with a cigarette and then a fairground. Funny thing music.

Great! I've never liked NY's version (apologies) but loved Prelude's acapella version.
