I watched the Paul Carrack gig that was promoted by DICE last night. Absolutely excellent — wonderfully filmed and great sound.
Having a look around DICE (which is new to me) I can see a few gigs coming up that might be interesting.
There is a series being developed by The National Concert Hall in Dublin. Coming up in November are:
These are ticked gigs but are by far the most professional that I have seen during lockdown. Each gig remains online for a couple of days.
You are sent a link by email or via a mobile app about an hour before the gig. The video itself is a 'hidden' YouTube video. But press play on your phone and you can then go back o a smart TV/Apple TV or so on and you will find it in your YouTube history — click on this and you can watch on a TV.
These are pre-recorded to ensure the best quality sound, but they are recorded as live. As I said above, these are amongst the best of these offerings i've seen!
