I have owned a Danelectro Vintage 51 electric and recently got my hands on the Alvarez AT60E Electro acoustic Baritone and must say it was the best under £500 electro-acoustic I've ever invested in. Out of the box quite a bit of buzzing here and there as the action is quite low for a baritone imo but nothing that can't be fixed. Acoustic sound is very well balanced whilst not as loud and big as I would have hoped for considering its a Jumbo bodied guitar, but it does pack a good punch. Plugged in for me is where it really shines. Comes with the LR Baggs system and has a great plugged in sound and with a tad bit of reverb it just opens up for so much great experimentation I can't seem to put it down. Very true to its acoustic sound i barely had to mess around with the 3 system EQ. I'm tuned in standard B for now. I would definitely invest in another acoustic baritone at some point in my life but I have a feeling this Alvarez will provide me a great deal of fun for some years to come. If anyone is interested in picking up an acoustic baritone I'd definitely recommend it! Alvarez do great guitars for the money. I might get one of them as you can get them for 350. You do mean ABT60e though don’t you?

Anyone looking for a reasonably priced 8 string baritone along the lines of the Taylor one should note that this has just been announced by Guild: guildguitars.com/g/bt-258-deluxe/Exciting news that! Very good price range for the 8 string! Although so far I've only seen it at Thomann but guess when officially released other UK shops may have them as well.

Can’t believe how cheap they are knocking these out. The 6 string one on Thomann is only £392.
