I had a great capo for my uke, a pencil held on with an elastic band. It worked pretty well! Careful. You might get banned ;-)

I own what some may regard s expensive nstruments, and I use Blue Chip Picks -at least one per instrument. If there weer a better capo, I'd buy it (or some. I use the basic shubb C1 - the original with the little delrin tip on the end of the screw. They work. They are small, and they last forever. Suits you sir! Oh no that’s not the original 😂 My early Shubb just had the metal prong, no delrin tip. Rick’s seen a picture of it and commented that it was a really early one before the tip change. I had one of those also. I remember thinking it was a huge development when they introduced the Delrin tip.
