Hi
Any of you Brook owners had any issues with uneven frets ?
This is how they can checked, assuming you have the tool or similar
I checked my frets on my 3 year old Brook OM last night and they are uneven across all of the frets.
Regards
John

Hi John oustudent . If the result of uneven frets is buzzing then I haven't got any on my guitars. Is there any other effect caused by uneven frets? Cheers Phil

Hi Phil
Yes, it's always buzzed but since I took up Flatpicking it more pronounced. I couldn't understand what with 0.110" at the 12th and 0.015" at teh 7th why I was still getting a buzz.

What shape is the neck - if it's in back bow that's the effect you'll get for the lower frets.

It's 0.015" at the 7th fret, which is 0.005" more than my target measurement at the 7th fret. So plenty of bow

It's gone back to Brook this week for a setup, adjustment to the action, and new John Pearse bridge pins.
I wasn't aware the first set up post sale is free
