Can't wait to hear what it sounds like, as I have not heard one before.
It does look lovely, although, I'm not bothered about what a guitar looks like personally, I have always gone for sounds and couldn't really care about the look :-))

As I mentioned in the earlier Oxwood thread, I had two guitars by Brad, a matching pair built for a retirement present, sometime around 2011-12. Those guitars were both exquisite instruments. Your guitars shows all the hallmarks of mine--beautiful design and construction, lovely lines, perfect fit and finish. I'll bet it's an amazing guitar! Enjoy!

Enjoy! It really was down to your post in the Oxwood thread, and several other really helpful comments, that convinced me to go for the guitar. As I mentioned, it normally takes me several months to get to know a new guitar and decide whether its going to be right for me and yet Brad's OM was almost instantaneous. I know that you were thrilled with your two Oxwoods and it must have been an extremely difficult decision to let them go. I still can't quite believe the OM sounds as good as it does; it manages to give you close to the volume and resonance of a dread, and the same scale length, as well as many of the characteristics of a smaller bodied guitar like an OO. One aspect of the OM that has surprised me is how lightweight it is. My last acoustic was a Patrick James Eggle round shouldered 12-fret dread and that was at least twice as heavy as this OM. OK it was a dread but even so. It was an amazing guitar and sounded wonderful but lacked the range that this OM has. The previous owner of the Oxwood extolled the virtues of a very thin spruce top and I haver to say I agree with him. The top is extremely thin and the sound is very open and 'breathy' with a really deep solid bass and perfectly rounded trebles; no harshness at all. If I had been asked to try this guitar blindfolded and guess what type of wood the back and sides were made of there would have been no doubt in my mind it was rosewood. Even though I have told my self this will now be my only acoustic I am very tempted to keep my eyes open for another Oxwood with a different body size and also different woods.
