Every now and then you come across someone playing something and you just say quietly 'I wish ...' It actually happens too frequently to me. But I found this recording and just went 'wow'. This is an amazing song of course but I really didn't think it would be possible to do it just with one guitar and without all the backing, musical arrangement etc which is normally done. This chap does it. And his lyrical timing is spot on too. And I wish .....

Lovely voice, all the appropriate feeling of this song. Strange choice of guitar - L-50 maybe?
for why tie his hankie on the neck? Has his gibson got a cold?

The harmonic thing is certainly a potential for unwanted overtones, but also back buzz behind a capo - the unplayed length of the string vibrating against the fret - can be a problem with some guitars/players etc. Should be sortable with close attention to relief etc, though cna be tricky sometimes.

This is cracking and it really works well. If PS had played it like this it would not have been out of place on the Hearts and Bones album which is one of my favorites of his.
