Any m7(flat5). Hang over from jazz days - substitute it for any m7. Also a two fixed 'shapes' - easy to slide up and down fingerboard. Also like m9 instead of m or m7.

I'll join in for a bit of fun here I can't pick a favourite chord really but having said that I am using (like Alig above) a moveable Bm7b5 in a new tune of mine that I'm currently 'learning' which is a nice useful one. But I suppose if push comes to shove I would plump for any maj7 chord since they give a nice dreamy effect Phil

Strange question, but actually not so strange now I think about it, hahah!
G7 is flavour of the month at the moment I think, but Am and Em are long standing favourites haha!

Any Major 7th sound great to me, either in a progression of other maj 7ths or a mix of chords. That's one of the reasons I'm a great fan of Gordon Lightfoot's music as he regularly uses Maj7ths in his work; love it!
Here's a great example, covered by a guy called Brian Ekard who does brilliant GL covers.

I heard there was a secret chord... Yes. It's L. Only accessible on the banjo in N tuning. Apparently it sounds like butterflies making love in a cathedral. I don't have a favourite chord. They all sound the same to me.

My favourite is the Morris, normally the minor variant.

Not much point in discussing chords on a guitar unless you specify where and how. You've got the several octaves, the open strings and all sorts of interval possibilities, not to mention timbre.
A major G in cowboy position sounds completed different, and has completely different uses, to a barred E major at the third fret, for instance. When you add in some other bits you really need to specify where you are playing them.
In missionary tuning my favourite chord is 0 2 4 0 3 0
This is and can be named numerous things, but it works really well whenever an Em is asked for.
