My recording set up is very simple. I use a zoom H1n as a digital mike plug it into my pc and I'm away
Now I know I can then put the recording through a processor in the pc. My question is does anyone know of a reverb/effects unit that I can plug my Zoom into and then plug it straight into the 'puter so it records on?
Thank all in advance of your wisdom ☺️

What application software are you using on the computer?

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but what software on your PC do you record into Janey?
It's better to record "dry" and then add revrb afterwards then you have more control over the finished product and can experiment endlessly. Reording with the reverb already on gives you one shot - which might be great or....
Hence my question re software - you can usually get free downloadable "plug-ins" to work with your software to add reverb and a shedload of other stuff if you wish.

...EDIT ah, Peter asked the same question while I was typing!

As Keith says best to record dry and add the effects later.
If you get a program like Audacity it includes various effects including reverb.
Audacity is free and very intuitive to use.

I hate technical stuff! Lol I'm with you on this! I just spent an hour failing to get a sample to record in my very old (and simple audio programme). I could have spent that hour practicing guitar instead. Which is what I usually do, and will do from here on in, I shall leave the technical stuff to people that enjoy it.

Yeah the techy stuff is very secondary All I want to do is be able to share the stuff I write and play in the best (but easiest) light

What you want is one of those old spring reverb units, basically a long spring. My dad had one years ago attached to his organ. Sounded fab
