Slowly getting back into the clarinet in preparation for (possibly) using it in the duo if (a) we ever get any gigs and (b) I can get enough confidence, licks, and remember a few tunes. Oh, and (c) if I can erase the squeaks!
Just a Bb blues composed by James Rae who's written a lot of books, many aimed at beginners, such as this piece which is in Bb, but that's actually C on the clarinet which is always a bonus :-)

Very indeed Derek - sounded great to me! Very smooth and a lovely tone. When Mrs O'C had a go at clarinet more than 30 years ago I couldn't get a decent note out of it at all. Hope a gig or three might come your way soon - should concentrate the mind! Keith

minorkey yes, that's a great book, too. I made good progress on that one, but again, lack of commitment means I'm back towards the beginning. Sigh.

Sounds really nice. And is so much when you have a backing track!

minorkey I recorded the backing track myself - just a Bb blues on the acoustic. Couple of tracks to cover up the gaps...
