Well I've bit the bullet and I've bought myself a Fan Fret. I've had previous experience with F23 which i really enjoyed. Just the FF aspect is new to me. I think I'll enjoy the Guitar with the FF but only time will tell. Hopefully it will be in my hands on Thursday Photos were provided by Coda Music.

Lovely bits of musical wood, there I hope it lives up to your expectations, I see no reason why it won't ...

I think the logo is cool Chris. Lovely looking guitar and I favour the bridge rathet than a slanted one.

Congratulations, looks good - enjoy! I think the logo is cool Chris. Lovely looking guitar and I favour the bridge rathet than a slanted one. Phil Yes it's an interesting design, is the idea to remove the need to revise the bracing and bridge plate?

Here's what GL has to say about it on the website - www.georgelowden.com/catalogue/catalogue/fanfret.htmlThere was one (or more) prototypes made with a "normal" bridge but v slanted, which would need some internal revisions, but I'm guessing that the adopted design could have normal innards as GL describes the extended bit as "cantilevered", and originally not fixed to the soundboard so presumably normal innards. Now the "cantilevered " bit is glued to the soundboard....? Keith
