I have a new instrument being delivered next Wednesday afternoon. You can ask up to 20 questions, to guess the make and type of instrument.
The winner gets a free PlectraStand!

What make and type of instrument is it? Nice try!
For anyone else unfamiliar with middle-class party games, I am only able to answer "Yes" or "No".
There may be other "house rules", I shall make them up as we go along.

Is it a guitar? Is it an acoustic guitar? Is it a British acoustic guitar? Is it factory made? That'll do for starters

The answer is No.
Another tip, from Wikipedia, "Mathematically, if each question is structured to eliminate half the objects, 20 questions will allow the questioner to distinguish between 220 or 1,048,576 objects. Accordingly, the most effective strategy for Twenty Questions is to ask questions that will split the field of remaining possibilities roughly in half each time."

Is the luthier well known? Q2 Yes. I think so. Bit of a spectrum from "well known" to "I made it myself" but I think it's a name most of us would recognise.

No. But I think that was a guess rather than a question so there are still 17 questions left.

Oh, we have 20 questions BETWEEN us! I get it...
Q4. Does the instrument have more than 6 strings but fewer than 12?

[If this were a team game, the team that picked Leo would be stroking their chins and nodding sagely at this point. Or maybe not.]

If the lowest/thickest string of a guitar can be used to catch a rabbit (and is the 'perfect' thickness of guitar string - the other strings in a guitar set can't be used), is the lowest/thickest string of your instrument able to catch a smaller or larger instrument than a rabbit?
If the new instrument was used to smash over the head of a boxer, what weight classification would it fit? (eg a Uke would be used for a Flyweight, and a Double Bass would be used for a Heavyweight bruiser)

I can only answer Yes or No but your questions are good and deserve some kind of response.
The Rabbit Question. Maybe a badger. Or a frog. Is it the thickness of the string or the speed of the animal that is important?
Boxing. I think we're talking at least super middleweight.
