A few months a go I took a contract working in Hove and have been living here mon-fri the last few months, eventually managed to escape in lunchtime to TAMCO this week, was intending to try a Kroenbauer dreadnaught that Robbie told me about last year, but also tried a new Oxwood I'd been recommended to look at.
The Kroenbauer is a helluva a nice all solid handbuilt instrument for the current dusty corner price of £1295, had it not been so similar to my existing guitar in tone it would have come home with me. (This is an all solid hand built luthier guitar for less than the price of many factory instruments!!)
The Oxwood is truly gorgeous in both appearance and sound, probably one of the nicest mahogany guitars I've heard.
Was my 1st time visiting Tamco in the flesh as opposed to online, have to say what a lovely shop with amazing instruments and helpful friendly staff.

Oxwood is a new line from Brad Kolaya. The aim is to produce high quality, great sounding handmade guitars with a limited range of options to keep the price down. Sounds like he's doing a good job!
