I have just noticed a Fylde Lysander guitar for sale on ebay. After a trawl through tinternet i can not find much information about the spec of the guitar. i.e scale length, string spacing and nut width etc. Also was this model replaced by one of Fyldes existing models? Any information is welcome. Cheers.

Oddly, Steve, this is the second one to crop up in recent weeks (Previous one went for £1750). Lysander was built to Oberon (check out Fylde website) shape and scale length (630mm) etc but with maple b/s. Can't be 100% sure about the nut width (Oberon is 46mm), or string spacing at bridge (usually 57mm?) but why not email Roger - he's always quick and helpful, and keeps an eye on eBay too!
Hope that's helpful!
Keith

I have a 40-year old Fylde Lysander.....and have always understood ot to be the maple version of the Oberon. I don't really know why Roger stopped making the Lysander - it's visually and tonally stunning!

Hi there turbo, and welcome! Totally agree re Lysander! Also the demise of the cedar/mahogany Olivia (Oberon shape) was a shame too. Keith
