I have an old Yamaha guitar that I had signed by Tommy Emmanuel last year, I normally keep it in the case to prevent it from fading but I was thinking about putting it on the wall, It will not be in bright, direct sunlight but would there be any risk of the signature fading?

I would buy a Sharpie - draw a line on a piece of paper, cover half the line with silver foil and then tape it to a window, facing outwards, and leave for a few weeks. If, once you have removed the foil, both sections of the line are the same, it's lightfast. Pretty sure way to test lightfastness used in the art world for pigments.
I hope Mr E apologised for the graffiti!
