As a furniture / cabinet maker and guitar lover I am interested in "the best guitar chair" for guitarists. So I have two catagories; 1, working, I recon a standard kitchen type chair with a good cushion. No arms of course.
But my real interest is; 2, the slobbing out, getting inspired chair. I'd love to design it, build it and make my fortune but alas I think it's been done! It's the "Barcelona"chair, anything from 250 - 3000 pounds (i can't link a photo but google it). Everybodys opinoins valued!

Barcelona chair? Like this? Certainly looks just the job for slobbing out noodling Keith! Just needs a small table next to it for a suitable beverage. I'll have to make do with our sofa though! Keith

I just use my old piano stool. The piano died, and didn't even get a proper burial.

By chance, a joiner friend has just made me a chair - with my stumpy legs and aged back, I struggled to find anything comfortable. I have only had it a day but after 3 hours sitting I had none of the usual aches and pains. It also folds away for easy storage, commending it to my domestic supreme commander. My friend might be willing to make a few more - he could change to seat height to accommodate those of more normal proportions and use different woods/colours (mine is made from kitchen worktop offcuts). If anyone is interested in commissioning one, please pm me and I'll put you in touch. Brian
