I've had this rather pleasant set of Madagascar rosewood put aside for a new project for next year... Cheers, Ian

I'm 99% sure the wood was bought from MadInter, and the set looks like a classical outline on a 15" or so wide set.
Considering it's European source, I'd be inclined to think it's a European builder, maybe a distinguished UK builder of vintage designs?

Knowing Ian he could well have done all this with a U.S. Maker although the dimensions are in mm suggesting Europe.

That is a beautiful set of rosewood. Does it have the sapwood in the sides at all? It's going to be a beautiful guitar, whatever it turns out to be, and I'm sure we all look forward to seeing it progress! I'm not sure whether it's more or less frustrating/enjoyable watching someone else's guitar build, or waiting for your own!

Just so you know Monsieur Howell, I already have a worldwide patent pending and am certainly not averse to litigation... having said that I do find the back of my Torridge to be an excellent all-round surface on which to carve the Sunday roast. Try it at home and let me know what you think.
