My guitar is fantastic, however, if you play it hard (like I do all the time) it buzzes quite a bit on the bass strings, this is because there is very little relief in the neck and the truss rod is just sitting there, it has a neck that is not too skinny but not like a baseball bat with an ebony fretboard and since having it (even when using 13's for a couple of months with nothing on the trussrod) the neck would not shift, I'm going to have to ramp the action up again to stop the buzzing, oh well

Can't your tech have a look at it, Alex? Seems a shame that you can't adjust the neck to suit.

There's no way to correct it other than heating up the neck and forcing relief into the it, short of that just wait for it to pull forward, I doubt there would be anyone capable of working ont it who wouldn't charge quite a bit to do it

Are you sure relief is the problem? I hate buzz and I set up my guitars so there is no buzz, but I have the necks dead straight, almost no relief and pretty low but not dead low action and they don't buzz, even when played hard. I was wondering, is the nut cut correctly?

Keith Well, a lot of the time, it's mainly when using a flatpick or fingerpicks The buzzing isn't too bad, it may be worse at the minute because I just changed the strings, I need to make a new saddle because the current one is shimmed up so when I do that I will make it a fraction taller which should sort out the buzz

Took it to Nigel Forster today to give it a good once over, and he says it is on the money and needs no work done on the neck, just a slight set up.
BUT, while I was there I played one of Nigels guitars, it was on my mind on the bus all the way home, still is now and basically, I want one!!
