I've always thought the tacoma guitars looked cool with the offset sound hole - I just saw one for sale and although it needs a bit of work - missing strap button and jack socket (a real pain to fit on one of these I imagine!).
Anyone played one? I'd love to hear any opinions on them?

I have the tiny baby one - the Papoose, but that's probably not what you're asking about really!
Never played any of their "normal" guitars though, sorry.

I might have just bought the chief model anyway It was cheap enough that I can use it for some festival gigs this summer without stressing about taking something more expensive. I need to add electrics to it though so expect another thread soon. I'd be interested to know what you think about the quality - particularly the neck joint, which is unconventional for an acoustic - not sure how I feel about a bolt on.

One of my daughters has a Tacoma Dread... she finds the neck a wee bit chunky for her smallish hands but loves the sound (as do I).
Build quality seems excellent..

Hello strangemachinery (great name!) and welcome to the Forum! Why not say a quick "Hi" to everyone in the intros section and tell us a bit more about yourself and your music? Keith

I had a PK30 koa parlour guitar. Decent sound, and a wide easy to play neck. Most Tacoma's have issues with the laquer lifting off. Only cosmetic though
