My guitar currently has gotoh tuners which work brilliantly but they are quite ugly, I'm looking to upgrade to something better looking, preferably open gear, any suggestions?

Waverleys are really highly regarded but are expensive. I don't really like them that much, too stiff.
Heard good things about Schaller Grand Tunes.

My cheap but fine sounding Chinese built Stanford had Grover copies originally. They were the only bad thing about the guitar. I have changed them for real Grovers--open backed £65 a set. The nice people at Promenade Music did them for £60 fitted! No more problems.

I've got the Grovers and they look great. They work well too.
I'd be tempted to try the suggestion above of the Schallers, though...
