Hi all . Just thought I would do a quick post today. 5 months ago I purchased a Faith mercury parlour scoop. I have been over the moon with it. Just a joy to play and its one of those you can't stop picking up. I run ii through a Leaney LA 35 c acoustic amp .sounds lovely through it. I am not one for loads of effects even when I play my Godin radiator i use most effects sparingly. I say a clip of a guy running his martin through it. He said he was not really into effects especially on acoustics but used lightly it had some good subtle sounds without degrading a quality guitar. So I purchased one and thought I will give it a little spin. I must say that for playing live in coffee shops etc it has really given me some extra confidence , the sound has a lot of presence without sounding harsh or false. So before you think no straight away about something never dismiss something until you actually have tried it yourself. Happy strumming .

Hi Sorefingers
I'm in Tenerife this week and saw a guy playing his electro acoustic (not sure of make) through what sounded like a chorus effects pedal (again not sure of make). He played a variety of songs from the 60's to very recent ones. The pedal definitely added to the quality of his sound. I was very impressed with his cover of Hotel California. I am now looking to get one.

Use chorus sparingly! Less is more!

Hi all. No it is not complicated at all. I don't use chorus but a bit of reverb. It has a normal eq, and a mic distance and body shaping. It is very nice if you don't over do it.
