I have used their medium mandolin strings and liked them. Unlike guitar strings though (almost exclusively Newtone Masterclass PB, usually 12-54)I'm not over fussy about which mandolin strings I use - sometimes Newtone but also D'Adds, and even, I hate to say it, Elixirs. Keith

Yes, I use a custom set on my octave mandolin. I love them! They seem to last me quite a while too. Robbie

I used to use the custom packs a lot for slack key and dadgad. They're really good but me and uncoated strings don't get along.

I use their medium set. I think they settle in quicker and I think are generally longer lasting than other non coated strings.
