It's hard to believe that it's been ten years since Eric Roche passed away. He was a colleague and friend - and a great acoustic player, composer and teacher. I think about him constantly and will be playing in a tribute concert in Haverhill this November.
Meanwhile, here's Stuart Ryan playing Eric's tune 'Eight Years'...

It doesn't seem like ten years since Eric played at The Greys in Brighton regularly. He was a great guy and a great player.

I attended a number of Saturday workshops with Eric and one with you David back in the early 2000's at Bath University before I emigrated to Australia. It really got me into acoustic playing. Eric was a very generous, engaging and motivating teacher plus a great bloke. I have great memories of him playing the Perculator to ten of us in the classroom. The ten years have flown by and Eric is sorely missed.
