I've tried most capos at some point and have been through phases of using one style or another. I think I have most of them at home at the moment, Shubb, Kyser, G7 etc.
It does look a bit alike some horrific bit of Victorian surgical equipment but I can see that it might appeal. It seems to have the advantages of being very low profile and as well as adjustable like a normal shubb, whilst also keeping the perks of a spring loaded Kyser style in that it'll be quick to set and can be stored on the guitar so it won't get lost.
Could be pretty useful. And if the $75 is RRP it'll probs be significantly cheaper in real life?

Mine is on it's way over. I'll post my thoughts after I've tried it.

the shubb i have has an adjustment screw for pressure, unless this thing comes in various radius' to suit a guitar's fret board, i can't see how it could be much better

I really mine and have ordered two more. Since you've ordered two more, I'm assuming there is a "like" missing. Where are you getting them from, Chris?

Direct from Shubb. And, I have the 3 now. Very well made, minimal retuning ( can never say never) and I like that you can leave them up beyond the nut. One is on my new Wingert F, another on the 2013 Bown OM and the third on my Kinscherff Troubadour, I could be tempted to get more sometime. Not absolutely sessentail but very handy additions.
