Yes I am mad and have been told by everyone.
My Picado C1 classical, Kostal MD and Sobell MS. I'm hoping the last two will be sold privately soon and not via the internet, but the Picado may make the classifieds.
Nothing like a good clear out.

Nothing like a good clear out. I agree Jonny. I've sold three recently and am hopeful of two or three others going soon. Quite therapeutic, not to mention good for the bank balance!

So what does that leave you with, Jonny? Keith

More space under my beds!
It should hopefully leave me with a different Sobell and a different, probably Chinese, classical, oh yes and a rather nice new studio in my garden.

Good luck with your sales, Jonny.
Sometimes too much gear can get in the way of the music. If that makes any sense.

Yes I am mad and have been told by everyone. Good luck with the sales Jonny. If guitars don't get used and are surplus to requirements why keep them? Just as valid a case for saying it's mad to keep them. Mark

Good luck, Jonny! It doesn't seem mad to me, I know you can play just about anything well

I'm going to string up the Romanian spruce shed/studio when it's finished - good replacement for the Kostal!

Yay Jonny! I hope the new shed will have a AAA grade spruce roof and double BRW sides with bevels on the door and handcrafted cast metal locks and latches! Seriously though I think a recording studio in exchange for a couple of guitars [ even as lovely as those] makes loads of sense... PS...if you are tempted to do a BOGOF on the Kostal and Sobell please pm me...

I tend to agree with Mark, why keep them if not played. I have three and struggle to play them all regularly!

As an after-thought, if your sales for the Sobell and Kostal fall through, please also put those on the Classifieds. I like to test my resolve against unbearable temptation from time to time. Good for the character and all that

Martin I can resist everything but temptation! I shall, but still got some interest privately. Stefan Sobell said he'd have my MS model advertised on his site, so, that's the longer term plan. davewhite Yes, it was the African Blackwood MS that I was keen on - but too many issues, even though the sound is formidable. I did a back-to-back comparison with mine and it has a warmer bass, but nothing can touch mine for powerful mids and trebles. andyhowell I do play them all, a lot - so it's hard to part... but, a studio, to paint in, sadly not to record, is essential, as that's my main job. Off to see if I can sell the Picado tomorrow. Shed/studio ordered, so no going back! Jonny
