Inlight of tomrou beginning weissenborn thread , I have found a video of Tim Kill the Aussie who made my Wiess back in 2010. Timkillcustom.com Here's my Wiess next to my Waterloo. My slide guitars.

That's a nice little documentary, thanks Welshruss . Lovely guitars too, I do like a sunburst :-) What is the top of your Tim Kill made from?

The guitar is made from Fijian Mahogany (top, back and sides) which was probably planted by British Navy along time ago.

I haven't seen that kind of grain pattern with mahogany before, really cool.
Do your tuners have the standard length posts? My Anderwood has the short kind (copies of Waverly tuners on Weissenborn guitars I'm told). They're a little clunky. I'm considering upgrading them, but I can't find that low post kind. Maybe any acoustic guitar machines work ok.

I have Waverley tuners on all my guitars except the Waterloo. I'm a big fan. When a tuner broke on my Bashkin Stu-Mac sent me a replacement set straight away.
I have ebony button waverlies on the Weiss. The length post are fine. Maybe try gotoh or grover tuners? Stu-Mac website is a good resource.

The Mahogany has a different grain pattern as it is a different species to most Mahogany; it's plantation grown Cuban Mahogany, opposed to the Honduran variety.
