Hey guys, just a quick question.
In order to determine a rooms Schroeder Frequency, the RT60 must be sourced first. Fair play.
I'm just curious as to what relevance the rooms reverberation time has in order to determine the rooms Schroeder Frequency.
Cheers
George

I'm glad you asked that GeordieG....... All the info you require seems to be here, thanks to good old Wiki : en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Room_acousticsSo in summary, reverb times are always a function of the volume of the room, and the best designed rooms have an RT time that is the same across a wide range of frequencies (30 to 12000 hz). Why do you ask the question? Just curious.......are you designing an acoustic space, designing a reverb plugin? Robbie

Hi George, and welcome to the Forum.
Feel free to introduce yourself properly in the Introductions section and maybe tell us a little about yourself and your musical interests.
