Stud is fixed on the base of the heel? I prefer the original. Can I have some of what you're on, please, andyhowell ? Thanks Paul :-) I blame Apple. ah, I see, Andy - didn't cotton on as John's query was about the other end re endpin jacks. I'm sure Rog will have ensured John's heel button is properly placed. Keith

I'm sure Keith. I've been pondering this recently. My main guitar goes off for a little repair next week and I'm falling back on the OM. The strap stud here is in the base of the heel. Just doesn't feel right!

You need to be careful falling back on the OM or that'll need a repair job too!

Just a suggestion for the use of straplocks on a guitar with an endpin as shown. I made this little extension to the guitar strap which still allows quick change of the guitar.it works perfectly well but I don't use them now as I only sit playing. Worth thinking about. Ken.

Keith No heel button on mine Keith. I'm using a rather fetching old shoelace tied around the headstock instead (only joking ).

Well I wasn't even aware that such a thing as a strap lock existed. Thanks for enlightening me and I'll bin my prototype blueprints.

These locking straps work really well on guitars with "normal" strap knobs but sadly don't work with the end pin jack variety...
