I'll have to compare the tracklisting with my ancient vinyl box set "Who Knows where the time goes" - I suspect there'll be some considerable overlap, sadly.

A truly wonderful singer, and so sadly on this earth for much too short a time. From what I've heard of live recordings acoustic stripped back numbers would be good in that it allows us to hear the voice much better.

I guess many of us have numerous previous albums where the songs on these CDs are recorded. I often avoid compilation albums, or 'Best of ...' for this reason. But on the basis that this is supposed to be different acoustic takes on the songs, then I, like Brian, have risked a tenner to find out. After all its only the cost of a set of strings.

Yeah, but these are special. The studio albums — Rendezvous, Like an Old Fashioned Waltz and Sandy have some of my favourite songs on them. However, the production is dreadful and if you read 'I Always Kept a Unicorn' you realise Lucas just kept throwing stuff on them. They sound old and dated and I guess the masters are too messy to really clean up. The demos and live recordings on the other hand are just fabulous.

My copy arrived yesterday... had a quick listen to it and there's some lovely stuff on there.
I'm hoping that the version of Blackwaterside might inspire me to something!

My copy arrived on Friday, just in time for a 450 mile round trip to darkest Essex. Although there is not much new on this CD, the acoustic arrangements bring out the very best in her superb voice and poetic lyrics. Worth every penny to alleviate the misery of the A1, M11 and M25.
