I've had a few 12 strings in the past, all have gone on, never found one that 'clicked', closest I got was a Taylor 355 which was good but sounded like a wet sock, I like to string 'em heavy and tune them low, has anyone tried the Taylor 150E, thinking about one, tried one a while ago, and I recall liking it then...

I'm a long way from an expert and don't play my Crafter 12er a lot. However I did get the chance to play the Taylor 150e at London Acoustic show and a Nottingham shop and was impressed. Been thinking of selling the Crafter (its on Gumtree now at £235) and upgrading to the Taylor for a while.
I know that Paul (007) was also interested a while back in the 150e and don't know whether he's taken the plunge yet.
At £550 the 150e seems very good value.

I was interested in the Taylor the reviews I read were excellent and it is a lovely sounding guitar for a good price. But I opted for a 12 string made for me by the luthier formerly known as davewhite and I just lurve what he has made. Its outstanding which reminds me I must do a review for the forum.
