Hi everyone. Johno here from Akkadian Studios in Preston. I am looking for Acoustic Artists/Singer Songwriters for my show 'Akkadian Sessions', a platform for local artist to showcase their unplugged chops!.
Below is the pilot of the show and I am really hoping to keep this going and build a good viewer base to showcase local artists. I see a lot of videos around of people just videoing themselves on there mobile phones etc. and really wanted to put out a quality platform for artists to show off what they can do and the songs they are proud of, but may not have the equipment to do so. Please let me know if you are interested in coming down and playing a session for us and we will book a slot!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,
Johno

Nice work! I've subscribed to your channel. I have quite a few musician friends in your area.. Is it ok to share on FB.
Do you have a FB page for the studio I could share?

Low broadband speed meant video was, until very recently, a complete no go area for me. I happened to spot a local studio doing something similar and took up the offer. The result a professional looking and sounding video (in this particular case for free). I suggest anyone thinking about putting up videos has a serious look at Akkadian's offer.
The video I got from Vibes Studios is at and, to me, is far better than a static camera at home.
Didn't intend to put the video up, just the link. Oh well, one day I'll understand the web, computers and everything!

'Thanks Leitrimnick. That's exactly what I'm going for. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Great Video by the way '
Glad you liked the pictures, hope the music matched up. Hope the project goes well, and I'm impartial as I'm too far away over the water nowadays (used to live in Cheshire then Staffs.)
Years after 'Missus Picky..' I still don't have a YouTube account, though probably that will come later with next album (in the Autumn all things being equal). The effect of the Vibes Studio video has meant that I want, even more, to try and avoid a static camera pointed somewhere between me and the guitar. Will probably pay, even though I work on a very limited budget, for a video giving some movement and life. Different local video company over here can offer three camera video and a reasonable price (tens rather than hundreds of Euro).
Just for info: From memory 'Missus Picky..' was done with one tripod camera and a hand held digital SLR
