I really like Faith guitars. In fact, I've quite fancied getting one of their Neptune (baby jumbo) models, and came close once or twice.
They look great and play really well. Excellent spec for the price too.

The Faiths I have tried have been very good instruments. I wanted to avoid saying "for the money" because they are just good, full stop! I am however baffled by the pricing of their Signature specials. They seem to be about three times the price of standard models and the sort of price you could pay a British guitar builder to make a nice instrument and you could have some input and probably a better sell-on value. Do Faith actually sell any?

I've heard only good things about Faith, and once or twice have almost done the same as Martin and gone for a Neptune. I'm trying hard to keep this GAS under control though...Just about managing it. Bit for everyone else, I say go for it!

I have two a High gloss Venus sounds great unplugged and plugged in. I also have a Mercury parlour guitar which I tend to leave in dadgad tuning. Again tone is very good. Playability on both guitars for me is very good. I tend to play the Venus with a plectrum and finger pick the Mercury. Haven't looked at any other acoustics since I got them, very happy.

My Faith experience is mostly, years ago but I used to frequent a shop that had a lot of Faiths in and so have tried most of their models. They are all of a very high standard. My favourites were the High Gloss models. Like others, I really rate the Neptune. In fact I was lucky enough to own a Neptune, that was was hamd made by Patrick J Eggle himself, in the USA. Stunning guitar. I did own one of the Signature models, that Slasher has mentioned. I think they were made under licence, by Furch or BSG. It was around twice the price, of a standard model and was a really good guitar. Perhaps half way between a Standard and the Eggle made US model, in quality. The Trembisi models are very nice, also. I don:t think you'll go wrong, with a Faith.

I really like Faith guitars although I've never owned one. I've played many in shops over the years and haven't come across a duffer. I really like the mini-jumbo one and the parlour (sorry can't remember the model names). I was seriously considering getting a mini-jumbo but ended up going for a Furch.

I have liked the sound and on that ground alone they are worth experimenting with. I have often found the necks to be too narrow — on the Parlour maddeningly so!
