Thanks, I only have one clamp, so I plan on placing my old bridge next to glued new one with a piece of wood on top and clamp in the centre

Don't suppose you have any idea of what glue is best to attach a bridge on please

Most of the luthiers here use hide or fish glue because their workshops are set up for this, but for a hobbyist 'Titebond original' (not 2 or 3) is simpler, and many factory guitars are put together almost entirely with this.
