Sadly not a new personal appearance. But I was doing my 'man shop' today at my local Sains Superstore (razor blades, coat hangers, talc etc) and a browse through the CDs found a real bargain, a set of 5 of Sandy's classic albums for .... wait for it ...... £8.99.
The albums are
-North Star Grassman and the Ravens -Sandy -Like and Old Fashioned Waltz -Rendezvous -and 'Gold Dust; live at the royalty (final concert)'.
Yes there are some duplicates but she does different versions all the time. I've got most of the tracks already on two other compilation albums but still couldn't resist buying this. A total of 56 Sandy tracks for less than 20p each.
(Also was feeling flush so bought a James Taylor double album 'The essential James Taylor'. Again I have many of thre tracks already but quite a few I haven't. Total of 36 tracks at £5.00.
That's me spent up.

Are these the remastered versions? A big difference from the original mixes which are muddy and horrible!

Just got this collection from Amazon for £9.99. Great value. Not sure about the remastered bit, but 'North Star Grassman' sounds pretty good.
The Final Concert one is not exactly as it may have been on the night. Guitar and vocal parts were added later due to technical problems on the night of the concert. I don't think it was actually released until twenty years later. It was available - with difficulty on tape, and was known as 'The Attic Tapes' or something similar.
Thanks for the heads up on this one fatfingerjohn - a great deal.
