After loudly proclaiming I'd bought my last guitar two years ago. I quite like the look of the crossover/hybrid type nylon strings.(narrow necks, cutaway etc) Has anyone seen the Vintage Roger Williams in the flesh. I'm also thinking Cordoba and Yamaha as well.

I was talking to a chap who runs a music shop locally, and he has a Vintage Roger Williams in stock. I've been trying really hard not to go over there and try it out...

I played one recently. Nice design, sounded good and played very nicely. Really good case too.
The one I tried though had absolutely awful tuners, really loose and sloppy. I suppose it might actually have been a faulty set. The finish, in common with many Chinese built guitars, was far too thick for my liking, especially on the neck.
That said, there aren't that many crossover guitars out there, so it's certainly worth trying one if you can.

You could also put new tuners on it if they weren't up to much .
