So I was looking for new music to check out earlier & seemed to come up blank on the kind of stuff I was in the mood for - something new in an acoustic fingerpicking or slide vein. All the lists of recommendations I came across came up heavy on the blues-rock.
I can find plenty of new music I like in the Americana genre, but it seems odd to me, as a blues obsessive, that I can't find new blues to my taste.
So please fire me some recommendations - who's out there that I'm missing that's worth checking out?

Charlie Parr, Reverend Peyton, Jeff Lang and Kelly Joe Phelps are on my playlist. & mine! Although I've been less keen on Rev Peyton's recent work & KJP is taking time off from music. Charlie Parr does have a new album out next month though

Clive Barnes might interest you. I met Clive, briefly, at a festival we both did in 2015. I'm doing it again in a few weeks & he lives locally, so I imagine I'll have an opportunity to catch him again

None of these is purely guitar (though Philip Henry is pretty damn good on slide guitar) but I love all these.
