Nice wood mate, it should be a cracker. I am also having custom Lyn built, I have a couple of pictures, but there is no way I can upload them to flickr or get them on here. Look forward to seeing some more pics.

Lovely- never seen a bad guitar from the brook Boys and their stuff knocks the socks off most of the high end USA stuff imho.

That looks lovely. I got a custom OM from Brook a couple of years ago (Euro spruce and red gum, with a cutaway and 650mm scale) and never regretted it. They're great guitars.

That looks amazing so jealous! Thinking hard about which model Brook I want as well. Right now leaning towards a 14 fret Lamorna with Yew back and sides, and one of those really pale white tops (not sure of the wood, am guessing some kind of Spruce). Could you tell us about the wood on yours? Realise what BRW is, but not Lutz. Didn't know you could get the Rosewood with those lovely white stripes!

Must admit to not knowing what the Lamorna model looks like, do you have any details? Yew is is a great choice, my own Brook Tavy has a beautiful set of yew. Robbie

The Lamorna is on the Brook website price list, stats are:
Lamorna Description 000 Martin style
Scale 640mm / 25.25"
Upper Bout 288mm
Waist 238mm
Lower Bout 383mm
Depth at tail block 100mm
Nut width 44mm
010 Price £2450
015 Price £3200
The guys sent me some photos, I think they have only made one so far. I like it as it's a tiny bit smaller in all dimensions than what I am used to (my Faith Naked Venus), so would be easy to switch to I think. I am still considering the Taw as well though, its specs are very similar but it has the 630 scale length, which I really want to try out. I think the Torridge and Lyn might be slightly on the small side for me, but I really need to try a load out if possible.

Robbie I only noticed the Lamorna a few weeks ago. It's in the prices section but not in the guitar models section for some reason. Phil
