The original was in A but in C the chords are:

thank you it never accourred to me it was in A . oh well one step forward two steps back. the quest goes on dicky The guitar hammer-on thing (easiest heard right at the beginning)is the give-away to it being fingered in A - try it with capo 3 and key of A shapes if you prefer to sing it in C. Keith

It was in A. A Capo on F2 changes to G shapes which might be easier but it’s not a really hard time to learn and it is good to be able to play those shapes.
