I don’t normally read this but this week I’ve been a regular visitor to a hospital with a kid of hanging around.
Since the latest change in management things seem to be looking up. The interview are sizeable and interesting. This issue has Martin Carthy, john Williams, Pierre Bensusan and a conversation between Ralph McTell, Jim Moray and Ben Walker down at the Half Moon in Putney (most of the interviews seem to focus around this hallowed turf).
I was struck by Ben Walker’s views on modern fingerstyle. Nobody has bettered the stuff that Martin Simpson and Dick Gaughan did back in the day. Whisper it quietly but Ben doesn’t rate tappers. I knew he was classy.

Indeed. guitbrett just posted the news in FaceAche. Can’t say I’m surprised - it went so far down that it just took too long to get it back up and Blaze/Future Publishing couldn’t be bothered waiting anyway...

As Paul Brett says, it is a shame to lose an Acoustic Magazine. Obviously not enough being sold, also people losing their jobs, sad.
