I've just been exploring this new service which looks a damn site better than Soundcloud. "At Drooble we believe that music has the power to change the world for good. So our mission is to provide musicians with better opportunities for growth and networking. Unlike the other platforms where promotion is paid with money, musicians on Drooble can contribute to the community and earn points, then spend those points on the valuable promo tools we’ve developed and constantly improve. Imagine a community where you can connect with others to collaborate, exchange ideas and share knowledge. A place that unites all artists worldwide and offers them a revolutionary approach to promote their work. A place where music comes first. This place is Drooble! Help us spread the word by telling friends or simply by sharing". A bit of a cross between Soundcloud and Facebook — seems to be a bit of a public domain alternative, a bit like some of those services being developed on STEER. Worth living it a shot. drooble.comI'm here !!!

I saw an ad for this earlier this week and thought it looked interesting. Is it free?

I saw an ad for this earlier this week and thought it looked interesting. Is it free? Yes. It appears to be using the kind of token system that Steem It uses. It seems to want to combine functions of band camp and Reverb Nation as well.

can't say the name does much for me, sounds like the definition of a puddle of dribble... shouldn't judge a book by its cover though!

Wild Violet I've played around with this for a few days now and it is worth a look. The community there is certainly more interesting than Soundcloud. I've posted a couple tunes here and I'm seeing more plays than on SC (if that is important). It mixes SC functions with Facebook-style networking with a bit of reverberation thrown into the mix.
