Interesting, but I don't think I'll ever reach a stage where my stuff is worth publishing.
It makes you wonder if there is any money to be made in creating and publishing music, I imagine most do it for the love of it and if you get paid something along the way its a bonus.

Things for me to think about If I was to consider publishing my music:-
1. Book myself into the nearest asylum. 2. Errrrrr ..... 3. That's it.

If you write songs and perform live regularly PRS is well worth exploring albeit people have very different experiences with them (some here have had problems). One registered you can back claim to some extent.
Of the ‘promoters’ Distrokid seems very effective. AWOL works as well but only deals with streaming and not EP or album releases on Amazon/iTunes, etc.

With not much experience, I plumped for TuneCore for Amazon/iTunes distribution on my recent release, will share any thoughts I have as time passes. I’d also recommend signing up to PRS and PPL and getting all of your stuff registered as early as possible.
